Database Administrator - Snowflake DB

Experience : 6 to 10 years

Notice Period : Immediate /30 days joiner

Responsibilities :

- Optimize Snowflake database for speed and efficiency, addressing any bottlenecks or issues.

- Implement and maintain database security policies, including role-based access control (RBAC).

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align database architecture with business requirements.

- Monitor Snowflake usage, costs, and performance metrics, and make recommendations for

cost optimization.

- Ensure smooth data migrations and integrations with other systems.

- Provide on-call support for critical database issues, ensuring minimal downtime.

- Work on tuning SQL queries and improving database performance for optimal operations.

- Keep up-to-date with Snowflake releases and best practices to ensure the platform is continuously optimized.

Key Qualifications :

- In-depth knowledge of Snowflake architecture, including data warehousing, data modeling, and performance tuning.

- Strong proficiency in Snowflake SQL and expertise in role-based access control (RBAC).

- Proven ability to manage large-scale data environments with a focus on stability,

performance, and security.

- Experience with Snowflakes best practices and strategies for optimizing cloud data

environments.

- Familiarity with data integration tools and cloud technologies.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
