Job Title : Database Administrator (In-House)

Location : Mumbai

Expeience : 3 to 5

Work Mode : On-site (Day Job, 5 Days a Week; flexibility required for weekends, nights, or remote work as per demand)

Role Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator (DBA) with hands-on experience in managing Linux-based environments and relational databases. The role involves managing both in-house servers and cloud deployments, ensuring smooth operations, high availability, and secure data management.

Key Responsibilities :

- Install, configure, and maintain PostgreSQL/MySQL databases.

- Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.

- Manage Linux OS installation for database hosting.

- Handle database backups, disaster recovery planning, and high availability (HA) implementation.

- Monitor and maintain databases using provisioning, configuration, testing, and monitoring tools.

- Manage in-house and cloud-based deployments.

- Write and maintain scripts (Bash, Perl, or similar) for automation and maintenance.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Minimum 3 years of Linux command-line experience.

- Proven experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL administration.

- Strong understanding of backup strategies, disaster recovery, and HA solutions.

- Familiarity with provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring tools.

- Scripting knowledge (Bash, Perl, or other scripting languages).

Work Schedule :

- Regular office hours (5 days a week).

- Occasional weekend, night, or remote work as per operational needs.
