Job Summary :

Oracle and AWS RDS DBA with 5+ years of experience in database administration in Production environment.

Primary Skills : Oracle DBA and AWS RDS (Postgres, Aurora DB, MySQL), Neo4J.

Secondary skill : At least one of PostgreSQL or MySQL and Automation using Shell scripts, Jenkins, Python etc.

- Experienced in installation of Oracle standalone & RAC databases (from scratch).

- Experienced in RAC database installation / troubleshooting / backup / restore/ RAC standby.

- Experienced in creating standby databases (from scratch LSB is a Plus).

- Experienced in Oracle standalone & RAC database upgradation (Manual upgradation and DBUA upgradation).

- Experienced in Oracle standalone & RAC database patching.

- Working experience in performance tuning with tools like (DPA, OEM, AWR, ADDM, ASH, SQL tuning advisor, SQL access advisor, SQL profile, SQL baseline, resource management).

- Experienced in AWS RDS, EC2, S3, instance migration/upgradation, RDS snapshot/cloning/restoration.

- Knowledge in AWS VPC, security, DMS, Terraform.

- Experienced in Data Pump, RMAN clone, Transportable tablespace.

- Experienced in Linux and Windows operating systems.

- Experienced in Schema management / Tablespace management.

- Strong communication and customer handling skills.

- Ability to build relationships.

- Strong understanding ITIL processes & handling P1/P2 Critical Issues.

- Experience in JIRA, CMDB.

- Ability to lead project initiatives like DR tests, upgrades/patching/migrations, mentor junior resources.

- Ability to lead/perform the Root cause analysis (RCA), support/lead major incidents.

- Ability to lead challenging assignments like application migrations, technology certifications, Proof of concepts (POC), Tunings.
