- Minimum 4 years of experience managing and supporting MySQL in production.

- Strong in performance tuning, query optimization, replication, and clustering.

- Experienced with backup/recovery, monitoring, and capacity planning.

- Proficient in Linux/Unix and shell scripting for automation.

- Familiar with cloud MySQL (AWS RDS, Azure Database, GCP SQL).

- Solid understanding of database security, user roles, and encryption.

- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities :

- Administer, configure, and maintain MySQL databases for high availability and performance.

- Perform backups, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.

- Monitor and optimize database performance, queries, and indexes.

- Collaborate with developers and DevOps on schema design and releases.

- Automate recurring DBA tasks and maintain monitoring dashboards.

- Ensure data integrity, access control, and policy compliance.

- Should be comfortable with working in US Shift.
