Role Description :

Seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to support the Honeywell Application Separation program by managing, optimizing, and migrating databases across multiple technologies.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with DynamoDB (AWS), Microsoft SQL Server, and MongoDB, and will play a critical role in database planning, partitioning, backup/recovery, and performance optimization for separated environments.

Overall Experience Requirement :

- 8+ years of overall DBA experience in enterprise IT environments.

- 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS DynamoDB.

- Strong experience managing and tuning Microsoft SQL Server and MongoDB instances.

Role Description :

- Manage, configure, and monitor production and non-production environments across DynamoDB, MSSQL Server, and MongoDB.

- Design and execute database separation, migration, and replication strategies to support business unit split.

- Optimize database performance, indexing strategies, and query tuning for high availability and scalability.

- Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures across all platforms.

- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to ensure data integrity, access control, and compliance.

- Perform data export/import, schema changes, patching, and system upgrades as needed.

- Support environment provisioning and database automation via scripts and infrastructure-as-code tools.
