Job Title : MSSQL Database Administrator

Location : Kopar Khairane, Navi Mumbai

Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced SQL Database Administrator with at least 3 years of hands-on experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and ensuring the readiness of our database servers, while supporting a growing development team with data modeling, performance tuning, and Azure cloud integration.

Key Responsibilities :

- Install, configure, and maintain production and development SQL databases, including backup, recovery, and patching.

- Manage high-availability clusters, configuring mirroring, log shipping, replication, and Always On.

- Oversee Azure SQL Database instances, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

- Implement and manage Azure SQL Data Sync and Azure SQL Managed Instance.

- Optimize and monitor performance for both on-premises and Azure SQL databases.

- Support database migration to Azure, including assessment, planning, and execution.

- Collaborate with development teams for query and schema optimization.

- Conduct routine database maintenance, such as index optimization and integrity checks.

- Participate in on-call rotations, including shifts, late evenings, and weekends as necessary.

- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required Skills :

- Minimum of 4 PLUS years of experience as a SQL Database Administrator.

- Hands-on experience with SQL Server high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

- Solid understanding of database concepts, performance tuning, and query optimization.
