Required Skills & Experience :

Required Profile :

- 8+ years of experience on Database warehouse / lake house programming

- Experience in implementing at least 2 end-to-end data warehouse / data lake projects

- Experience in implementing at least 1 Azure Data warehouse / lake house project end-to-end

- Converted business requirements to concept / technical specification

- Worked along with source system experts in finalizing ETL and analytics design

- Support data modeler developer in design and development of ETLs

- Creation of activity plan as per the agreed concept with timelines

Technical Expertise :

- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure components, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL Database, Azure Key Vault, MS Fabric, Azure DevOps (ADO), and Virtual Networks (VNets).

- Expertise in Medallion Architecture for Lakehouses and data modeling in the Gold layer.

- Solid understanding of Data Warehouse design principles, including star schema, snowflake schema, and data partitioning.

- Rich Experience with MS SQL Database Packages, Stored procedure, Functions, procedures, Triggers and data transformation activities using SQL

- Good knowledge in SQL loader, Data pump and Import/Export utilities

- Knowledge on Performance Tuning

- Experience with any data visualization or BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI

Role & Responsibilities :

Capacity Planning & Environment Management :

- Proven experience in capacity planning, environment setup, and deployment strategies within Azure.

- Familiarity with cloud cloning/copying processes for managing development, testing, and production environments.

Green Cloud Computing :

- Knowledge of green computing principles and a track record of optimizing cloud resources for cost and environmental efficiency.

Interpersonal & Communication Skills :

- Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams, effectively communicate complex concepts, and influence key stakeholders.

- Analyze demands and contribute to cost/benefit analysis and estimation

- Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Data Engineer Associate certifications are a plus.
