Job Summary :
We are looking for a skilled Data Warehouse Engineer with hands-on experience in SQL databases and AWS cloud platforms to design, develop, and maintain scalable data warehouse solutions.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for integrating data from multiple sources, optimizing data pipelines, and ensuring data integrity and performance to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse architectures, data models, and ETL/ELT processes.
- Develop efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Build and manage data pipelines using AWS services such as AWS Glue, Redshift, Lambda, S3, and Athena.
- Collaborate with data analysts, BI developers, and business teams to deliver reliable, high-quality data solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance through optimization and quality checks.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance existing ETL workflows and database performance.
- Implement and maintain data security, governance, and compliance standards.
- Support data integration from multiple sources including APIs, third-party platforms, and internal systems.
- Participate in data modeling and documentation to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and best practices in cloud data warehousing and data engineering.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data warehousing, data engineering, or database development.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (query optimization, complex joins, stored procedures).
- Hands-on experience with AWS data services (Redshift, Glue, S3, Athena, Lambda, RDS, etc.
- Experience in ETL/ELT design and implementation.
- Knowledge of data modeling (star schema, snowflake schema, dimensional modeling).
- Proficiency with Python or similar scripting language for data automation (preferred).
- Familiarity with data governance and data quality practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with BI tools (e., Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy).
- Exposure to ClickHouse, BigQuery, or other columnar databases.
- Experience in version control systems (e., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- AWS Certification (Data Analytics or Solutions Architect) is a plus
