About the Role :

We are seeking a Data Streaming Engineer with strong expertise in building and maintaining real-time data pipelines. This role involves working with cutting-edge streaming frameworks, CDC connectors, and cloud-native environments to deliver scalable, event-driven solutions.

Must-Have Skills :

- Data Streaming (real-time pipelines, event-driven systems)

- Change Data Capture (CDC) frameworks : Debezium, Kafka Connect, MongoDB CDC, PostgreSQL CDC

- Apache Flink (DataStream API, streaming transformations)

- Apache Kafka (event streaming backbone, CDC ingestion)

- PostgreSQL / RDS (SQL, relational modeling, schema evolution)

- ETL & Pipelines (design, build, maintain)

- MongoDB (CDC integration, schema mapping)

- dbt and/or Airflow (analytical DAGs, migration to streaming)

Requirements :

- 4+ years of experience in data engineering or streaming pipeline development

- Hands-on expertise with Apache Flink DataStream API

- Practical experience with Apache Kafka for CDC/event streaming

- Familiarity with Debezium-based connectors, Kafka Connect, or similar CDC frameworks

- Strong SQL skills (CTEs, relational modeling, PostgreSQL/RDS)

- Experience with dbt and/or Airflow for analytical workflows

- Java development experience for pipeline engineering

- Exposure to AWS or other cloud environments

- Experience refactoring/replacing dbt models with streaming transformations

- Knowledge of schema evolution strategies and metadata management

- Some experience with CI/CD workflows for data pipelines

- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, ECS/EKS, Kubernetes)
