Data Security Specialist - Cryptography

Job Overview :

- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, enterprise risk management frameworks, and internal policy standards

- Actively contribute to audits, risk assessments, and policy enforcement related to cryptographic and security practices

Financial Efficiency :

- Promote cost reduction and minimize financial wastage aligned with organizational policies

Learning & Knowledge Sharing :

- Participate in forums, training, and workshops to enhance team knowledge

- Provide advisory support in managing change initiatives and operational improvements.

Required Qualifications :

- Minimum 5 years of experience in Cryptography, Key Management, or Security Engineering

Strong understanding of :

- Cryptographic algorithms and protocols (e.g., TLS, PKI)

- Industry standards : FIPS 140-2/3, NIST SP 800 series.

Hands-on experience with :

- AWS KMS, Azure Key Vault, and on-prem HSMs (Thales, Entrust, AWS CloudHSM)

- Familiarity with PCI DSS requirements and audit processes

- Scripting & Automation : Proficiency in Python, Bash

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools : Terraform, CloudFormation

- Advanced Java development experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications :

Relevant certifications such as :

- AWS Security Specialty.

- GIAC Cryptography (GCTY).

- Experience with containerized environments like Docker, Kubernetes, and secrets

management.

- Knowledge of Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) and threat modeling.

Experience Requirement :

- Security architecture or engineering roles.
