Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Scientist with 3- 5 years of hands-on experience in data science, statistical modeling, and cloud-based analytics. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Python, R and SQL, along with excellent communication skills and a working knowledge of insurance concepts.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors / masters degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field

- 3 - 5 years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related role

- Proficiency in Python, SAS, SQL, ML

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy predictive models and analytical tools using Python, SAS, and SQL

- Familiarity with statistical techniques, machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, Scikit-learn) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

- Solid understanding of insurance concepts : underwriting, claims, actuarial science, risk modeling.

- Experience with big data tools (Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Knowledge of statistics, probability, and predictive modeling.

- Excellent communication skills to explain

- Abel to explain the technical results to non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking

- Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions

- Communicate complex analytical findings in a clear and compelling manner to technical and non-technical audiences
