Data Scientist - Python/R

Qualification :

B.E/ B. Tech/M. Tech/MCA / Bsc/ Msc

JOB SUMMARY :

Role intended for management of Data and Digital projects of Advanced analytics, data initiatives, other AA/ML based solution

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Capturing requirements of projects related to Advanced analytics and Data Science

- Initiate and drive discussions of potential Data Science solutions with stakeholders of different business verticals

- Manage multiple projects and corresponding stakeholders ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.

- Deliver components of digital business initiatives that identify, design, and implement technology solutions based on AA/ML.

- Post go-live monitoring and support to the end-to-end processes.

- Capturing and tracking functional requirements from business functions

- Train junior Data Science team members

Soft-skills required :

- Excellent problem-solving skills

- Analytical bent of mind, should be able to work with situation with ambiguity and come up with rational solutions

- Project management experience, should be able to quickly decide and prioritize actions to high quality and time bound deliverables

- Demonstrated hands-on experience in Python/R

- Hands-on experience of working on numpy, pandas, seaborn, matplotlib, sklearn, etc is mandatory

- Knowledge about Machine Learning models (Classification & Regression) is mandatory

- Working knowledge of wide array of generally used models in classification and regression such as Decision Tree, Random Forest, Bagging, Boosting.

- Experience of Pharma will be an advantage but not mandatory.
