Role : Data Scientist

We are seeking highly skilled Data Scientists with 6 - 8 years of experience in analytical roles, machine learning, and large-scale data handling. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in statistical modeling, data matching techniques, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Experience in payments, eCommerce, or financial services is a plus.

Location : Chennai, India

- Education & Experience : bachelors or masters degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering) or equivalent industry experience.

- Analytical Expertise : 5+ years in an analytical role with a proven record as a data scientist, or applied ML. Strong knowledge of data matching, record linkage, or entity resolution techniques. Comfortable performing statistical validation of models or rule-based outputs (e.g., sampling strategies, calculating precision/recall/coverage).

- Technical Skills : Proficiency in databases, spreadsheets, and statistical tools, with advanced expertise in SQL, Python, data mining, and BigQuery analytics (Google Cloud).

- Data Storytelling : Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights and compelling narratives.

- Large-Scale Data Handling : Experience working with large, multi-dimensional datasets and solving complex analytical challenges.

- Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to translate findings into actionable recommendations.

- Industry Knowledge (Preferred) : Experience in payments, eCommerce, or financial services is a plus. Experience designing or maintaining rule-based systems (fuzzy matching, regex, lookup tables, etc.). Familiarity with MDM tools/platforms or prior experience with master data systems.

- Experimentation & Insights (Preferred) : Extensive experience in designing, executing, and analyzing experiments for product and feature launches.

- Communication & Influence : Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear, persuasive insights
