Job Description :

We are looking for a highly analytical and client-focused Data Scientist with strong experience in patient-level healthcare data and pharma analytics. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in claims, EHR, lab, and pharmacy datasets, along with strong analytical and predictive modelling skills.

This role requires someone who can translate complex healthcare analyses into actionable business and clinical insights while working closely with client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze patient-level healthcare datasets including claims, EHR, lab, and pharmacy data

- Build longitudinal patient journeys across multiple care settings

- Conduct treatment pattern, line-of-therapy, disease progression, and patient retention analyses

- Develop predictive and risk stratification models using machine learning techniques

- Apply time-series and survival analysis to study treatment duration and patient drop-off trends

- Work on cohort creation, enrollment logic, and episode-of-care frameworks

- Develop complex SQL and Python-based analytical workflows on large healthcare datasets

- Apply NLP techniques on unstructured patient data such as clinical notes and call logs

- Translate analytical findings into executive-ready insights, dashboards, and presentations

- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to solve complex business and clinical problems

- Ensure data quality, reproducibility, and analytical accuracy across projects

Required Skills & Experience :

- 4+ years of experience in analytics consulting with at least 2 years in the pharma domain

- Hands-on experience with patient-level healthcare datasets

- Strong experience in patient journey analysis, treatment patterns, and disease progression studies

- Strong SQL and Python programming skills

- Experience in predictive modelling including regression, classification, and clustering

- Experience combining multiple healthcare datasets and building longitudinal patient views

- Strong analytical storytelling and stakeholder communication skills

- Experience with time-series analysis and/or survival analysis

- Experience building risk stratification models using ML techniques

- Experience working in PharmaTech or Life Sciences companies

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in client-facing analytics environments

- Experience using NLP on unstructured patient datasets

- Exposure to healthcare behavioural and adherence analytics

- Master's degree preferred
