Data Scientist - Machine Learning

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist with a strong background in machine learning, data analytics, and Python to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in developing scorecards, implementing fraud detection systems, and driving data-driven decision-making processes. You will play a key role in enhancing our capabilities and delivering actionable insights that drive our business forward.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement advanced machine learning models to improve scoring systems and enhance fraud detection mechanisms.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, transforming it into valuable insights for business strategies.

- Create and validate scorecards for risk assessment using statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.

- Conduct exploratory data analysis and visualization to communicate findings to stakeholders effectively.

- Utilize programming skills in Python for data management, model development, and automation of analytical processes.

- Monitor and evaluate model performance, recommending adjustments and improvements based on

analytics and business requirements.

- Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and analytics to continuously improve methodologies and practices.

- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering an environment of learning and development.

Requirements :

- Master's or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

- 8-10 years of experience in data science, with a focus on machine learning and analytics.

- Proficiency in Python, with experience in data manipulation and modeling libraries (e. g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).

- Strong understanding of statistical techniques and experience in scorecard development.

- Experience in fraud detection methodologies and risk assessment.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets and complex algorithms.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings to nontechnical audiences.
