Job Title : Data Scientist - Generative AI / LLMs

Work Base Location : Bangalore / Pune / Chennai / Kolkata / Gurugram (Hybrid Mode)

Experience Range (Min-Max years) : 5 to 13 years

Work Shift Timings : Standard Business Hours (Hybrid)

Job Description :

We are seeking skilled Data Science professionals with strong Generative AI expertise to join our high-impact AI/ML team across multiple levels (L3, L4, L5). You will design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge GenAI solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), MLOps practices, and modern cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities :


- Build and deploy scalable Generative AI and LLM-based applications (prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and RAG pipelines).


- Architect end-to-end ML workflows covering data ingestion, model training, evaluation, and production deployment.


- Implement robust MLOps practices including model versioning, monitoring, and performance optimization.


- Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and product stakeholders to identify high-impact GenAI use cases.


- Integrate vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate) and optimize inference for cost-effective scaling.


- For L5 (GenAI Architect) : Lead system design and cloud deployment strategies, establish best practices, and mentor teams.

Core Skills (Must-Have) :

- Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) - hands-on experience with transformers, fine-tuning (LoRA/PEFT), and prompt engineering.


- Python - proficiency with ML/AI libraries (Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, PyTorch/TensorFlow, OpenAI API).


- MLOps - experience with CI/CD for ML, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud-native deployment (AWS / GCP / Azure).


- Strong knowledge of classical Data Science / Machine Learning concepts and algorithms.

Preferred :

- Exposure to multimodal models (text + image/audio/video).


- Knowledge of AI governance, security, and compliance frameworks.


- Familiarity with advanced GenAI architectures and performance optimization techniques.

Educational Qualification :


- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related technical field. A PhD is a plus.


- 12-15 years in AI/ML and software engineering, with 3+ years focused on Generative AI and LLM-based architectures.
