What Youll Do :
- Partner with Product teams to spot opportunities where data can fuel innovation.
- Preprocess massive structured & unstructured datasets to uncover hidden trends & patterns.
Build custom models & algorithms from scratch, applying predictive modeling to :
1. Enhance customer experiences
2. Boost revenue
3. Power user-to-user discovery (matchmaking at scale )
4. Detect & block fraudsters
- Collaborate with Engineering to deploy your models into real-world matchmaking experiences.
- Build tools & processes to monitor model performance and ensure data accuracy.
What Were Looking For :
- 3-5 years of Data Science & ML experience in consumer internet / B2C products.
- Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering (or certification in Data Science).
- Machine Learning wizardry : recommender systems, NLP, user profiling, image processing, anomaly detection.
- Statistical chops : finding meaningful insights in large data sets.
- Programming ninja : R, Python, SQL + hands-on with Numpy, Pandas, scikit-learn, Keras, TensorFlow (or similar).
- Visualization skills : Redshift, Tableau, Looker, or similar.
- A strong problem-solver with curiosity hardwired into your DNA.
Good to have :
- Experience with big data platforms : Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Pig.
- Extra love if youve played with BI tools like Tableau or Looker.
