Role Overview :
As a Data Scientist at NSP, you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing cutting-edge data science solutions using Cognite Data Fusion (CDF) and generative AI. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, domain experts, and product managers, to translate complex business challenges into actionable insights and innovative applications.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and deploy machine learning models and algorithms on the Cognite Data Fusion (CDF) platform to address specific client needs in the energy sector.
- Utilize generative AI techniques to create synthetic data, augment existing datasets, and develop novel solutions for data scarcity challenges.
- Collaborate with data engineers to build and maintain robust data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and storage of industrial data within CDF.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis and feature engineering to identify key drivers of performance and opportunities for optimization.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and concise presentations and reports.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deploy machine learning models using Python and relevant libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Proven experience working with cloud-based data platforms, preferably Cognite Data Fusion (CDF).
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance principles.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience with generative AI models and techniques is highly desirable.
