Data Scientist - Azure Databricks

Position Overview :

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Scientist / Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake and Databricks, capable of supporting teams during an active platform transition.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Python programming, building custom ontologies, and working with semantic tools, alongside familiarity with standard biomedical models like MedDRA.

The role involves enabling existing data science workflows, developing knowledge graphs, creating reusable and modular code for downstream analytics, and enhancing data science capabilities through scalable engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage and optimize the migration and integration of data between Snowflake and Databricks platforms.

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support analytics and machine learning workflows.

- Build custom ontologies and integrate semantic tools to improve data discoverability and usability.

- Develop knowledge graphs for complex data relationships, ensuring accuracy and scalability.

- Write modular, reusable Python code to accelerate data science projects and analytics processes.

- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance across all systems and workflows.
