Data Scientist - Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, train, and optimize machine learning models for real-world use cases.

- Conduct experimentation, performance tuning, hyperparameter optimization, and error analysis.

- Debug training issues and improve model reliability and accuracy.

- Translate research concepts into robust, production-ready prototypes.

- Build and integrate ML-backed features into production systems.

- Develop APIs using FastAPI or Flask for model serving and application integration.

- Collaborate with Software Engineering teams for seamless deployment.

- Troubleshoot production issues, latency concerns, and model serving problems.

- Work with cloud platforms such as AWS for model hosting, compute, storage, and CI/CD workflows.

- Optimize model deployment pipelines for speed, scalability, and cost-efficiency.

- Work closely with product, engineering, and research teams to understand requirements and deliver end-to-end ML solutions.

- Communicate findings, model choices, and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Write clear technical documentation, model explanations, and API specifications.

- Clearly articulate model limitations, performance metrics, and improvement areas.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related technical field.

- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist or ML Engineer with strong hands-on model development experience.

- Strong foundations in machine learning, model lifecycle, experimentation, and metric evaluation.

- Proficiency in Python and ML libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, NumPy, Pandas.

- Experience building and deploying APIs using FastAPI or Flask.

- Good understanding of RESTful API design and backend fundamentals.

- Familiarity with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, etc.

- Ability to debug complex technical issues and optimize models or training workflows.

- Strong communication skills and ability to explain concepts clearly.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Experience in Synthetic Data Generation (SDG) or privacy-enhancing technologies.

- Exposure to frontend frameworks such as React or Next.js.

- Experience working in cross-functional product teams.

- Knowledge of MLOps practices, CI/CD, or model monitoring tools.
