Data Scientist - Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning

Responsibilities :

End-to-End Model Development :

- Design, build, and implement ML models from problem definition through to evaluation and deployment support.

Feature Engineering :

- Identify, engineer, and optimize features to improve model accuracy and performance.

Problem Definition & Business Impact :

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand objectives, define problems clearly, and deliver solutions with measurable impact.

Model Evaluation & Selection :

- Experiment with multiple ML algorithms, evaluate performance using appropriate metrics, and select the most effective model.

Data Management :

- Leverage SQL/PySpark to manipulate large datasets and support migration of models from legacy SAS AML to Palantir Foundry.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to ensure robust, scalable solutions.

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing :

- Maintain clear documentation of model workflows, assumptions, and decisions for transparency and future reference.

Requirements :

- Strong hands-on experience in end-to-end machine learning model development.

- Proven ability in feature engineering and working with large, complex datasets.

- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in SQL and PySpark.

- Experience in migrating or modernizing models (SAS AML Palantir Foundry a strong plus).

- Strong understanding of ML algorithms, model evaluation techniques, and deployment considerations.

- Ability to clearly articulate business problems and translate them into data-driven solutions.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field.
