Job Summary :

We are looking for a Data Scientist specialising in forecasting and predictive analysis. The role involves building robust forecasting models to drive supply chain, sales, or demand planning decisions. Candidates should be comfortable working independently while delivering business-aligned solutions.

Must-Have Skills & Tools :

- Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL

- Hands-on experience with time-series analysis and forecasting techniques

- Strong knowledge of feature engineering and model deployment

- Ability to interpret results, explain model outcomes, and present insights clearly

- Good understanding of data visualisation tools and automation techniques

Good to Have :

- Prior experience developing sales, demand, or inventory forecasting models

- Familiarity with ML model lifecycle and pipeline automation (Airflow, MLflow, etc.)

- Understanding of business operations and financial metrics related to forecasting

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Design and implement accurate forecasting models using statistical and machine learning methods

- Analyze time-series data to identify patterns and seasonality

- Work closely with business stakeholders to provide actionable forecasting insights

- Support automation and optimization of data pipelines for continuous model improvement

- Communicate key findings and recommendations effectively across teams
