Data Science Manager - Generative AI

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Data Science Manager to lead and mentor a high-performing team of data scientists. In this pivotal role, you will drive end-to-end machine learning (ML) and Generative AI (GenAI) projectsfrom ideation through deploymentensuring alignment with our broader business objectives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to leverage data-driven insights that fuel innovation and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead, develop, and mentor a talented data science team to deliver impactful ML and GenAI solutions.

- Oversee the entire lifecycle of ML and GenAI projects, ensuring timely delivery and robust deployment.

- Define and execute comprehensive data strategies that align with company goals and market demands.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product management, and business units to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.

- Ensure data integrity, governance, and the implementation of scalable data infrastructure.

- Establish and manage MLOps best practices including CI/CD pipelines, model monitoring, and automated retraining workflows.

- Stay abreast of the latest developments in AI, GenAI, and ML technologies, integrating innovative approaches where applicable.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Proven leadership experience managing data science or ML teams.

- Strong proficiency in Python and key ML frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.

- Hands-on experience with Generative AI tools, including large language models (LLMs).

- Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

- Deep understanding of MLOps pipelines and productionizing ML models.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a business-focused mindset.
