About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Data Science Lead to drive our AI and ML initiatives. You will lead a growing team of data scientists, oversee end-to-end machine learning solution development, and translate complex business challenges into data-driven insights and models.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of data scientists and interns, fostering growth and technical excellence.

- Plan, prioritize, and manage projects aligned with organizational goals.

- Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end ML systems from data acquisition to model production.

- Stay ahead of AI/ML advancements and implement state-of-the-art research into practical applications.

- Drive innovation in generative AI and large language model (LLM) projects.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with business and technical teams to identify opportunities and deliver impactful solutions.

- Present insights, findings, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders in a clear and effective manner.

Required Skills :

- Experience : 7+ years in Data Science, Machine Learning, or related fields.

- Proven experience managing senior and junior data scientists in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong leadership and project management skills.

- Hands-on expertise in Python, object-oriented programming, and data structures/algorithms.

- Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and applied mathematics.

- Proficiency with ML/DL libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch.

- Deep experience with ML algorithms including Regression, Gradient Descent, Decision Trees, and SVM.

- Proven expertise with Transformer architectures and Large Language Models (LLMs).

- Experience building LLM applications using frameworks such as LangChain and LlamaIndex.

- Ability to interpret and implement advanced ML research papers into production-ready solutions.

- Strong communication skills and comfort in presenting to clients and leadership teams.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cloud ML platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

- Familiarity with MLOps tools for model deployment and monitoring.

- Prior experience in AI strategy or product innovation initiatives.
