Vopais is seeking a highly motivated Data Science Engineer to join our Mumbai (Colaba) team.

This is a full-time, onsite opportunity for professionals with a solid foundation in statistical analysis, classical machine learning, and experience building and scaling data pipelines.

Your expertise in DataBricks and agentic AI will help drive impactful solutions for our clients while supporting our growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and deploy predictive models using advanced statistical and classical machine learning techniques.

- Data wrangling, cleaning, transformation and feature engineering for robust model performance.

- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape data-driven solutions.

- Visualize datasets and model outputs using tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, or ggplot2.

- Integrate agentic AI systems into data workflows and communicate insights to both technical/non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 3+ years hands-on experience in Data Science or Machine Learning

- Proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation and modeling

- Solid understanding of statistical concepts and a range of ML algorithms

- Strong experience with DataBricks and agentic AI frameworks/platforms

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Git for version control

- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills

- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, onsite environment
