Role Overview :

As a Data Quality Engineer at Sysmind Tech, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across our various systems and applications. You will work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to identify data quality issues, develop and implement data quality rules, and monitor data quality metrics. Your work will directly impact the reliability of our data-driven insights and the effectiveness of our solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement data quality rules and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity across various data sources.

- Perform data profiling and statistical analysis to identify data anomalies, inconsistencies, and potential data quality issues.

- Develop and maintain data quality dashboards and reports to monitor data quality metrics and track progress on data quality initiatives.

- Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to resolve data quality issues and implement data quality improvements.

- Contribute to the development and enforcement of data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality standards are met.

- Participate in data modeling and data integration projects to ensure data quality is considered throughout the data lifecycle.

- Conduct data validation testing to ensure data meets business requirements and data quality standards.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design and implement data quality rules and validation processes using SQL.

- Proven experience in performing data profiling and statistical analysis using Python.

- Strong understanding of data governance principles and data quality best practices.

- Experience with data modeling and data integration techniques.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve data quality issues.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

- 5 - 8 years of experience in data quality engineering or a related role.
