About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Quality & ETL Testing Engineer to support business-critical data initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure accurate data delivery, robust ETL/ELT testing, and successful UAT execution across cloud-based data platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements in detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs).

- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.

- Design, plan, and execute comprehensive ETL/ELT testing strategies for complex data pipelines.

- Develop and optimize advanced SQL queries for data validation, reconciliation, and analysis.

- Lead and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions, including test planning, execution, and sign-off.

- Work extensively with Snowflake and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data environments.

- Ensure data quality, accuracy, integrity, and compliance across systems.

- Identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with engineering teams for resolution.

Required Skills :

Primary Skills :

- Strong expertise in SQL

- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and/or GCP

- Proven experience in ETL/ELT Testing

Secondary Skills :

- Python for data validation or automation

- Strong experience in BRD creation

- Hands-on UAT planning and execution

Required Qualifications :

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, contract-based environment.

- Experience working directly with business users and leadership teams.
