Data Protection Officer - Security Protocols

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement enterprise data privacy and protection policies

- Ensure compliance with GDPR, DPDP Act, ISO 27001, and other regulatory frameworks

- Conduct risk assessments, privacy impact assessments, and compliance audits

- Monitor and manage data security and compliance programs across the organization

- Lead incident management and data breach response processes

- Collaborate with IT, legal, security, and business teams to ensure compliance standards

- Manage internal and external audits related to data privacy and governance

- Establish governance frameworks for data handling and protection

- Maintain compliance documentation, reports, and policy frameworks

- Conduct awareness and training sessions on data privacy and security best practices

Required Skills & Experience :

- 7 to 12 years of experience in data privacy, governance, and compliance

- Strong expertise in GDPR, DPDP Act, ISO 27001, and regulatory compliance

- Experience in risk assessment, audit management, and incident response

- Strong understanding of enterprise data security policies and governance frameworks

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

- Experience in enterprise IT, BFSI, or global compliance environments preferred

- Ability to manage multiple compliance initiatives simultaneously

- Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities

- Experience handling enterprise-level compliance programs

- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and audit skills

- Ability to work in fast-paced and highly regulated environments
