Data Modeler - SQL/Data Warehousing

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and optimize robust data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) to support analytics and business reporting needs.

- Leverage Advanced SQL skills for efficient data querying, transformation, performance tuning, and optimization.

- Build and maintain data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) leveraging native services and tools.

- Architect and implement scalable Data Warehousing (DWH) solutions for storing and analyzing large volumes of structured and semi-structured data.

- Integrate data from ERP systems such as SAP and other enterprise platforms into centralized repositories.

- Perform comprehensive data discovery, profiling, and validation to ensure data quality, trust, and compliance.

- Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver appropriate solutions.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and ensure adherence to data engineering best practices.

Mandatory Skills & Experience :

- Expert-level proficiency in SQL complex query writing, performance tuning, and optimization (Rating : 10/10).

- Strong hands-on expertise in data modeling including conceptual, logical, and physical schema design.

- Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its data services (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage).

- Proven experience in building and maintaining data warehouses for enterprise-scale analytics.

- Familiarity with ERP data structures (e.g., SAP) and integrating ERP data into centralized data platforms.

- High attention to data accuracy, governance, and validation standards.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

- Exposure to data governance frameworks and tools

- Prior experience working in Agile teams
