As a Data lead at NxtWave, you will lead end-to-end analytics projects, turning complex datasets into actionable insights for business decision-making for a business unit.

You will define key metrics, design data models, and mentor junior analysts while driving automation and self-serve analytics across the organization.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Own end-to-end analytical projects from understanding business problems to delivering actionable insights using data-driven approaches.

- Mentor analysts, ensuring the delivery of accurate and insightful reports and dashboards.

- Analyze trends and root causes, define or improve KPIs, and provide recommendations that drive business decisions.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, align priorities, and ensure timely delivery of outcomes.

- Work with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and management to define data needs and identify process improvements.

- Ensure data quality, access control, and governance, following organizational guidelines and best practices.

- Recommend improvements in data collection methods and promote strong data governance practices.

- Drive automation and self-serve analytics initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts.

- Maintain key business metrics, documentation etc., for consistency and knowledge sharing.

- Stay updated with the latest tools, technologies, and best practices in data analysis and visualization.

- Exhibit ownership and accountability for team performance, outcomes, and continuous improvement.

Skills Required :

- Advanced SQL skills ability to write optimized queries and handle large datasets.

- Hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.

- Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.

- Proficiency in defining key business metrics and identifying the right data points required for projects and analyses.

- Experience with data transformation tools such as dbt (Data Build Tool).

- Good understanding of statistics.

- Ability to analyze data using tools like Google Sheets/Excel and Python.

- Strong data storytelling and visualization sense.

- Experience in automating data workflows and enabling self-serve analytics.

- Understanding of ML,AI concepts prior working experience is a plus.

- Attention to detail with a logical and structured approach to problem-solving.

- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver within deadlines.

- Mentorship capability guide and support junior analysts.

Languages Known : Need proficiency in English.

Work Experience : 2+ years of experience in the field of Analytics.

Work Location : Hyderabad.

Working Days : 5 Day Week.
