ROLE Oracle Finanace Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the functional design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Oracle Financials modules including GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, and SLA.

- Work directly with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements and map them to Oracle Financials functionality.

- Perform fit-gap analysis, identify solutions, and drive configuration efforts.

- Lead and support end-to-end implementation and rollout projects, including solution design, testing (SIT/UAT), user training, and post-go-live support.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex functional issues in production and non-production environments.

- Collaborate with technical teams for customizations, interface requirements, reports, and extensions.

- Prepare and maintain functional specifications, test cases, training materials, and SOPs.

- Ensure compliance with internal policies, external audit requirements, and regulatory standards.

- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Oracle Financials and advise on best practices and continuous process improvements.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 10+ years of functional experience in Oracle EBS Financials (R12).

- Deep expertise in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payables (AP), Accounts Receivables (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), and Subledger Accounting (SLA).

- Strong knowledge of the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycles.

- Experience in multiple full-cycle Oracle Financials implementations.

- Solid understanding of accounting principles, finance operations, and compliance requirements.

- Ability to write functional documents and perform UAT coordination and training.

- Hands-on experience in working with Oracle AIM/OUM methodologies.

- Strong skills in SQL for functional data analysis is preferred.

- Exposure to working with cross-functional teams and global finance operations.

Preferred Skills :

- Exposure to Oracle Cloud Financials (Fusion) or planning cloud migration is a plus.

- Understanding of GST, TDS, and other Indian localization functionalities.

- Familiarity with tools like BI Publisher, FSG, and Oracle Workflow is desirable.

- Oracle certifications in Financials will be an added advantage.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or Information Technology.

- Professional certifications such as CA/ICWA/CMA are a plus.
