Job Description :
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide end-to-end administration of Oracle EBS environments, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching.
- Manage EBS versions 11i to R12.2, ensuring system integrity and performance.
- Perform routine cloning activities and manage environment refreshes using established cloning methodologies.
- Apply and manage EBS technology stack patches including iAS, WebLogic, Oracle Forms, and Reports.
- Monitor database and application performance, identify issues, and implement tuning and optimization solutions.
- Administer Oracle RAC, Oracle Clusterware (CRS), and Data Guard for high availability and disaster recovery.
- Install, upgrade, and patch Oracle RDBMS versions up to 12c, following Oracle best practices.
- Serve as the Lead DBA or Focal Point for clients and internal teams within the DBA pool.
- Collaborate with application developers, functional teams, and infrastructure specialists to support integrated environments.
- Manage and support Oracle SOA Suite, Fusion Middleware, and WebLogic administration tasks.
- Ensure all systems adhere to internal security standards and external compliance regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle EBS and Oracle Database administration.
- Strong expertise in managing Oracle EBS versions 11i through R12.2.
- Proven experience in production support, performance tuning, and proactive monitoring.
- Proficiency in cloning methodologies, patch management, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Oracle RAC, Oracle CRS, and Oracle Data Guard.
- Expertise in Oracle RDBMS installation, upgrades, and patching (up to version 12c).
- Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware, SOA Suite, and WebLogic Server administration.
- Understanding of Oracle EBS technology stack components: iAS, Forms, Reports, WebLogic.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a client-facing environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple environments.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) DBA / Apps DBA certification.
- Exposure to cloud environments (OCI, AWS, or Azure) is a plus.
- Experience working with ITIL frameworks and ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
- Familiarity with shell scripting or automation tools for DBA activities.
Educational Qualification :
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
