Data Integration Lead - Boomi & Apache Kafka

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement scalable enterprise integration solutions using Boomi and Apache Kafka.

- Build and maintain APIs, event-driven integrations, ETL workflows, and middleware solutions.

- Develop reusable integration components, connectors, and frameworks for enterprise applications.

- Define integration standards, governance practices, and best practices.

- Own the complete integration lifecycle from requirement gathering, architecture, development, testing, deployment, and production support.

- Work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to translate business requirements into technical integration solutions.

- Ensure integrations meet performance, scalability, reliability, and security standards.

- Design and implement real-time event-driven architectures using Kafka.

- Configure and manage Kafka producers, consumers, topics, partitions, and message flows.

- Optimize streaming performance and ensure high availability of Kafka-based integrations.

- Develop and maintain Boomi integration processes, APIs, connectors, and workflows.

- Implement data transformation, mapping, validation, and orchestration logic.

- Manage Boomi Atom/Molecule deployments and environment configurations.

- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues within Boomi environments.

- Support business-critical and high-volume integrations in production environments.

- Perform root cause analysis and resolve integration failures, performance bottlenecks, and data inconsistencies.

- Establish proactive monitoring, alerting, and incident management processes.

- Ensure SLA adherence and system reliability.

- Implement CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments and release management.

- Automate integration testing, deployment, and monitoring processes.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams for infrastructure provisioning and deployment automation.

- Follow Agile development methodologies and participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

- Mentor junior integration developers and provide technical guidance.

- Participate in architecture discussions and technology evaluations.

- Collaborate with QA, infrastructure, security, and application teams for successful delivery.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across integration platforms and processes.

Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Boomi Integration Platform Expertise in Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture

- Enterprise integration and middleware development experience

- API Integration and REST/SOAP web services Data transformation and orchestration

- Production support and troubleshooting

- Integration architecture and design patterns CI/CD and DevOps practices Agile/Scrum methodologies

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Boomi Certification preferred. Experience working in cloud integration environments.

- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP integration services is an added advantage. Experience with microservices architecture is preferred. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
