Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Data Governance professional with 11 - 13 years of experience in data governance, data management, metadata management, and enterprise data governance frameworks. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Collibra and Informatica IDMC, along with expertise in data cataloguing, data lineage, data quality, and governance implementation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and implement enterprise-wide Data Governance frameworks, policies, standards, and processes.

- Define and maintain data ownership, stewardship, accountability, and governance operating models.

- Drive implementation and adoption of Collibra for data cataloguing, business glossary, metadata management, workflows, and governance.

- Work with Informatica IDMC for metadata management, data governance, data quality, and integration-related requirements.

- Develop and maintain Business Glossary, Data Catalog, Data Lineage, Critical Data Elements (CDEs) and metadata.

- Establish data quality rules, monitoring mechanisms, and remediation processes.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data owners, data stewards, architects, and technology teams.

- Define governance workflows and ensure adherence to enterprise data policies.

- Support data lineage and impact analysis across critical business processes and systems.

- Identify gaps in existing governance practices and recommend improvements.

- Drive data governance maturity, adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Prepare governance dashboards, KPIs, and reports for senior stakeholders.

- Ensure alignment with data privacy, security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Mandatory Skills :

- 11 - 13 years of overall experience in Data Governance / Data Management.

- Strong experience with Collibra.

- Strong experience with Informatica IDMC (Intelligent Data Management Cloud).

- Expertise in Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Cataloguing, Business Glossary, Data Lineage, Data Quality, Data Stewardship, and Data Ownership.

- Experience working with enterprise data governance frameworks and operating models.

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Experience working with large-scale enterprise data environments.

Good to Have :

- Experience with Informatica CDGC / Cloud Data Governance & Catalog.

- Knowledge of Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).

- Experience defining Critical Data Elements (CDEs) and data quality rules.

- Knowledge of Data Management frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK.

- Exposure to cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

- Experience in regulated industries such as Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or Healthcare.

Data Governance Lead / Data Governance Architect with 11 - 13 years of experience, strong Collibra + Informatica IDMC expertise, and proven experience in enterprise data governance, metadata, data lineage, data quality, business glossary, and data stewardship.
