Data Governance Engineer - Informatica

Position : Unity Catalog + Databricks+ Informatica(Optional)

Location : Remote

Duration : Full Time Contractor (No PF/No Gratuity/No insurance/No leaves)

Notice Period : Only Immediate Joiners/ Currently Serving Notice/ Notice is less than 30 days

Responsibilities :

- Primary Unity Catalog + Databricks , Secondary - CDGC.

- Ensure all core data assets have their definitions (comments) and classifications (tags) are recorded within Databricks ready for scanning into CDGC.

- For complex items, work to understand the business logic with the data engineer and business stakeholder and document in a business-friendly manner for loading into CDGC.

- Ensure all tables have a definition (we could use AI for this within Databricks and signoff on it).

- Policy creation.

- Experience working with PII and SOX data including obfuscating or pseudonymising data.

- Work with the business and the governance team to understand any data quality requirements and start to use this capacity within Databricks as well as CDGC.

- Due to their deep understanding of the data, work with the Operations team and engineers to resolve any data quality issues where appropriate and implement data quality improvement

projects as necessary.

- Training the data engineers in Governance related items as needed.

- Proactive and excellent communicator - fluent English speaker.
