Data Engineer - SQL/Talend

Job Description :

The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the data infrastructure for a healthcare organization.

The ideal candidate will have experience in working with healthcare data, including EHR, HIMS, PACS, and RIS.

They will also have experience with SQL, Elasticsearch, and data integration tools such as Talend.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain data models and schemas.

- Implement data security and governance policies.

- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines.

- Work with stakeholders to understand their data needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.

Requirements :

- 5+ years of experience in data engineering.

- Experience in working with healthcare data.

- Strong knowledge of SQL.

- Experience with Elasticsearch and data integration tools such as Talend.

- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.

- Expertise in dealing with at least one of the following: Text data, Imaging data with DICOM (preferably CT and MRI), or OMICS data (Genomics).

- 5 years of experience with Knowledge Graphs, Vector Databases, and Airflow.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
