Data Engineer - SQL/Python

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in AWS Cloud and AI/ML technologies to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data engineering, analytics, and cloud-based solutions, along with a strong understanding of machine learning implementations on real-world datasets.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT frameworks.

- Manage data migration and integration using AWS DMS, SCT, and other tools.

- Work extensively with AWS data services such as S3, Glue, DMS, Redshift, RDS, Aurora.

- Develop and optimize data models for analytics and reporting.

- Implement AI/ML models for predictive insights and automation.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data strategy, architecture, and governance.

- Use Power BI, SSIS, SSRS, Athena, QuickSight, and similar BI tools for visualization and reporting.

- Ensure data security, quality, and compliance across systems.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 5- 8 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or Data Warehousing.

- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Data Services.

- Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, PowerShell, and PySpark.

- Proficiency in ETL processes, data transformation, and data orchestration tools.

- Experience in AI/ML implementation (minimum 1 year).

- AWS Associate or Specialty Certification (minimum two) mandatory.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with AI/ML, DataOps, and automation frameworks.

- Familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and other open-source databases.

- Domain exposure in Manufacturing, Aerospace, or Airline sectors.

- Knowledge of ITIL methodologies, networking fundamentals, and basic IT infrastructure.
