Data Engineer - Snowflake DB

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer (Snowflake Developer) with strong experience in Snowflake and SQL, along with working knowledge of Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Python.

The role involves designing and implementing scalable data integration solutions, optimizing data pipelines, and ensuring high performance and reliability of data platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement data integration and ETL/ELT solutions using Snowflake and Azure Data Factory.

- Ingest data from multiple sources including databases, APIs, and flat files into Snowflake.

- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to process and analyze large-scale datasets efficiently.

- Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot Snowflake performance issues, recommending improvements and optimizations.

- Implement best practices for data modeling, partitioning, and query optimization.

- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across data pipelines.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analytics, BI, and application teams to meet data requirements.

- Support data quality checks, security standards, and governance policies.

- Document data pipelines, processes, and technical designs. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- 3 - 5 years of experience in SQL and data engineering.

- Hands-on experience with Snowflake in production environments.

- Practical experience using Azure Data Factory for data orchestration.

- Ability to deliver optimized, scalable, and reliable data pipelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 3 - 5 years of experience in data engineering or related roles. Strong expertise in SQL and data warehousing concepts.

- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including performance tuning and cost optimization.

- Working knowledge of Azure Data Factory (ADF) for ETL/ELT workflows.

- Basic to intermediate experience with Python for data processing and automation.

- Understanding of data modeling techniques (star/snowflake schema).

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
