Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned Snowflake Developer to spearhead the development and optimization of our data infrastructure. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless delivery of our strategic initiatives, leveraging cutting-edge technologies like Snowflake, Coalesce, and Fivetran.

Key Responsibilities

- Snowflake Development : Design, develop, and optimize Snowflake objects including databases, schemas, tables, views, and stored procedures.

- Data Integration : Utilize Snowflake utilities such as Snow SQL, Snow pipe, Streams, Tasks, Zero Copy Clone, and Time Travel for efficient data handling.

- ETL Processes : Implement and maintain ETL workflows using Coalesce and Fivetran to extract, transform, and load data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization.

- Azure Migration : Lead the migration of data from Azure Cloud to Snowflake, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

- Security & Governance : Establish and manage system roles, custom roles, role hierarchies, masking policies, and network policies within Snowflake to uphold data security and compliance.

- SQL Development : Craft complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, functions, triggers, and indexes using MS-SQL Server (T-SQL).

- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to meet data-driven business objectives.

Qualifications :

- Experience : Minimum of 8 years in IT, with at least 3 years as a Snowflake Developer.

- Technical Proficiency : Strong expertise in Snowflake utilities, Azure integration, and data loading techniques.

- ETL Tools : Hands-on experience with Coalesce and Fivetran for data transformation and integration.

- SQL Skills : Advanced proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries and procedures.

- Soft Skills : Excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset.

- Domain Knowledge : Familiarity with financial domains such as hedge funds, private debt, and private equity is advantageous.

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
