About the Role :

As a Data Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, services, and models that enable high-quality dashboards, reports, and insights. You will work in a modern Data Mesh environment while collaborating closely with senior technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own and govern Retail Technology solution designs

- Build automated pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and analysis

- Work within a Data Mesh architecture to deliver robust data solutions

- Coordinate with senior stakeholders to identify gaps and propose solutions

- Troubleshoot technical issues and enhance pipeline efficiency

- Own end-to-end delivery of data models, reports, and dashboards

- Perform exploratory data analysis and implement data quality checks

- Continuously adopt modern engineering and automation practices

- Improve system performance, quality, and reliability

Essential Skills :

- Total Experience : 47 years in Data Engineering

- Snowflake (Primary Skill) : 3+ years hands-on

- Experience with DB2, Datastage, Teradata (Mandatory)

- Strong expertise in Python frameworks

- Advanced SQL with experience in performance tuning

- 5+ years of ETL development using Spark and/or Scala

- Experience with UNIX Shell Scripting, Oracle SQL/PL-SQL

- Familiarity with Kafka, cloud technologies, and Agile environments

- Strong understanding of SDLC, documentation, and specs writing

- Banking domain experience is a plus

Qualification : Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Looking For :

- Snowflake + DB2 + Datastage + Teradata (Mandatory combo)

- 3+ years hands-on Snowflake
