Data Engineer - Python/Snowflake DB

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer / Analytics Engineer to design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Python, Advanced SQL, DBT, and Snowflake, with a strong focus on building efficient, reliable, and high-performance data infrastructure to support business intelligence and advanced analytics.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines using Python, DBT, and Snowflake.

- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

- Build and manage data models in Snowflake to support analytical and reporting needs.

- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business teams to translate requirements into effective data solutions.

- Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance optimization across data systems.

- Develop and maintain DBT models with modular, testable, and version-controlled transformations.

- Automate and monitor data workflows using modern orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect).

- Contribute to data governance, documentation, and best practices across the data ecosystem.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer.

- Strong proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.

- Expertise in Advanced SQL (CTEs, window functions, and performance tuning).

- Hands-on experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformations.

- Strong experience with Snowflake (data modeling, warehouse design, performance optimization).

- Experience working with cloud data platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

- Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data lifecycle management, and orchestration tools.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
