Sigma Allied Services is hiring an experienced Data Engineer (Innovation) for a leading client in the Airline Industry.

Client : Direct Payroll (IT Service Company - MNC).

Job Title : Data Engineer (Day Shift / Full time / Hybrid).

Total Experience : 6+ years.

Must have Experience :

- Language : Strong Data Engineering - designing and maintaining Python, Java, or Scala.

- Framework : Apache Spark or similar.

- DataBase : SQL.

- Cloud : AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Preferred : Experience in the Airline Industry is highly preferred.

Location :

- Onsite Abu Dhabi.

- Offshore resources can also be considered.

Notice : Immediate.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to support AI initiatives.

- Collaborate with Data Scientists to ensure data availability and quality.

- Build data processing and transformation pipelines for analytics and machine learning.

- Monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Contribute to technical design and low-level architecture aligned with business requirements.

- Work in Agile teams to analyse and decompose user stories into implementation tasks.

- Identify and recommend new tools, frameworks, and best practices.

- Own the end-to-end quality of assigned deliverables.

- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills :

- Strong experience in Data Engineering.

- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.

- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark or similar data processing frameworks.

- Strong SQL and database knowledge.

- Experience designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines.

- Good understanding of AI/ML data preparation.

- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is an added advantage.

- Experience in the Airline Industry is highly preferred.

Education :

- Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
