Job Role : Data Engineer / Migration Consultant.

Experience : 6+ Years.

Location : Pune, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Noida.

Role Proficiency :

- Proficient in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining data pipelines for ingesting, wrangling, transforming, and joining data from multiple sources.

- Strong hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, AWS Glue, Databricks, DataProc, Apache Airflow, Talend, Azure ADF, and coding skills in Python, PySpark, and SQL.

- Solid understanding of SCD concepts, data warehousing principles, and data schemas.

- Works independently with strong domain understanding.

Key Responsibilities :

Data Engineering :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines.

- Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.

- Integrate data from databases, APIs, cloud services, and third-party sources.

- Perform data quality checks and validations.

- Manage data storage solutions (relational databases, NoSQL, data lakes).

- Optimize performance and resource utilization.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production data issues quickly.

Testing & Documentation:

- Develop and execute unit tests for data pipelines.

- Validate data accuracy, quality, and performance.

- Create and review documentation including source-to-target mappings, test cases, and results.

Design, Estimation & Defect Management:

- Understand design and low-level design (LLD) linked to requirements and user stories.

- Estimate time, effort, and dependencies.

- Raise, fix, and retest defects as per standards.

Knowledge & Compliance:

- Follow configuration and engineering standards.

- Adhere to timelines, SLAs, and compliance requirements.

- Contribute to knowledge repositories (SharePoint, client universities).

- Complete mandatory training and relevant certifications.

Migration Consultant Responsibilities:

- Lead customer migrations from SFDC to AWS.

- Work with PMs to understand customer-specific integrations and reconfiguration needs.

- Identify and plan migration of custom integrations with Migration Engineers.

- Educate customers on SSO (ADFS, Azure, Okta, OneLogin, Google SAML) and third-party integrations (SharePoint, Confluence, Google Drive, Slack, Box).

- Validate migration success using reconciliation reports.

- Assist with troubleshooting in SFDC and AWS environments.

- Manage enterprise customer relationships and escalations.

- Translate customer issues to internal program, product, and engineering teams.

- Identify and communicate process improvement opportunities.

Skills:

- SSO, AWS, SFDC, Migration.

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of hands-on technical implementation or consulting experience.

- 3+ years in customer-facing technical roles.

- Bachelors Degree in a technical or related field.

- Experience with large-scale / enterprise customers.

- Led SaaS-based platform migrations.

- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
