Description : We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Engineer with 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, and Matillion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing data pipelines, supporting MS Fabric environments, and leading migration initiatives from Microsoft Fabric to Snowflake
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric and Matillion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute migration projects from MS Fabric to Snowflake and Matillion.
- Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and performance across the data ecosystem.
- Optimize Snowflake environments for performance and cost efficiency.
- Implement and maintain data integration workflows, automation, and monitoring solutions.
- Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to translate data requirements into efficient data models.
- Support data governance, documentation, and best practices across all data engineering activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- 2- 4 years of experience in Data Engineering.
- Strong hands-on expertise in :
1. Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Synapse, Power BI integration).
2. Snowflake (SQL, performance tuning, data modeling).
3. Matillion (ETL/ELT design and orchestration).
- Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and data warehouse architecture.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and version control.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Good to Have :
- Experience in Python or PySpark for data transformation.
- Familiarity with DataOps and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Exposure to data security, governance, and compliance best practices.
