Cortex is urgently hiring for a Data Engineer to join our team! We're seeking a highly skilled individual with a strong background in Kafka, Python, and Azure Databricks to drive our healthcare data engineering projects.

Experience : 5 to 8 years

Location : Bangalore, Noida, and Hyderabad (Hybrid, 2 days a week in the office is required)

Notice Period : Immediate to 10 days only

Role Overview :

As a Data Engineer at Cortex, you'll be instrumental in developing and maintaining our data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in real-time data streaming, cloud-based data platforms, and large-scale data processing, particularly within the healthcare domain.

This role demands strong technical leadership, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. You'll be a key player in architecting and implementing scalable data solutions that are both efficient and compliant with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of real-time data pipelines using Kafka, Python, and Azure Databricks.

- Architect scalable data streaming and processing solutions to support complex healthcare data workflows.

- Develop, optimize, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines for both structured and unstructured healthcare data.

- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with critical healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and HITRUST.

- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

- Troubleshoot and optimize Kafka streaming applications, Python scripts, and Databricks workflows to ensure peak performance.

- Mentor junior engineers, conduct thorough code reviews, and promote best practices in data engineering across the team.

- Stay current with the latest advancements in cloud technologies, big data frameworks, and industry trends to keep our systems on the cutting edge.
