About the Role

We are seeking skilled Data Engineers (Level II & III) to design, develop, and optimize scalable data platforms that support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence needs.

You will play a key role in building reliable data pipelines, managing cloud-based data environments, and enabling seamless data consumption for dashboards and advanced analytics.

This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy working with modern cloud data ecosystems, transforming raw data into meaningful insights, and ensuring high standards of data quality, performance, and governance.

Key Responsibilities :

Data Engineering & Pipelines :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines to collect, process, and transform structured and unstructured data.

- Implement data integration workflows using cloud-native tools or modern data engineering technologies.

Cloud Data Platforms :

- Build and manage data warehouses and data lakes on cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

- Work with cloud storage, compute, and orchestration services to ensure scalable data architecture.

Data Modeling & SQL Development :

- Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data models for analytics and reporting.

- Ensure efficient data structures that support dashboards, reports, and self-service BI.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Support :

- Partner with Data Analysts, BI Developers, Data Scientists, and Business Stakeholders to understand reporting and data needs.

- Provide clean, structured, and enriched datasets for Power BI / Tableau / Looker dashboards.

Data Governance & Security :

- Implement and uphold data governance standards including data quality, lineage, metadata management, and compliance.

- Ensure adherence to security best practices and regulatory guidelines across all data systems.

Performance Monitoring & Optimization :

- Monitor data pipelines, storage systems, and cloud infrastructure for performance issues.

- Troubleshoot, tune, and optimize workflows for reliability and cost-efficiency.

Documentation :

- Maintain detailed documentation of data architecture, ETL processes, data flows, and business rules.

- Ensure up-to-date versioning and process clarity for internal teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 37 years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer, ETL Developer, or related role.

- Strong expertise in Power BI with experience supporting dashboard/reporting requirements.

- Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and optimization techniques.

- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure / AWS / GCP.

- Knowledge of building and maintaining data warehouses, data lakes, and large-scale data pipelines.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have) :

- Experience with Snowflake data warehouse or cloud data lake technologies.

- Familiarity with Python, Spark, or ETL tools (ADF, Glue, Databricks, etc.

- Background in data governance, data quality frameworks, or metadata management
