GCP Data Engineer

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled GCP Data Engineer with a strong background in Google Cloud Platform technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of GCP core services and will have hands-on experience with data processing and analysis.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain data processing pipelines using Google Cloud services.

- Work with BigQuery for data warehousing and analytics.

- Implement data workflows using DataFlow and Apache Beam (python).

- Manage and orchestrate data pipelines with Google Cloud Composer.

- Ensure data security and access management using IAM and other relevant GCP services.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Python for data processing tasks.

- Utilize SQL for querying and analyzing data within BigQuery.

- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

- Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with GCP.

- Strong understanding of GCP services including GCE, IAM, GCS, BigQuery, DataFlow, and Composer.

- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.

- Experience with Apache Beam and Python programming.

- Familiarity with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
