Qualification : Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields

About the Role :

The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. This role involves working with data warehousing systems, ETL workflows, databases, and BI tools to support analytics and business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities (KRA) :

- Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and ETL workflows

- Manage and enhance data warehousing systems using SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB

- Work with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and deliver data-driven solutions

- Build BI dashboards and compelling data visualizations using Power BI

- Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems

- Analyze large datasets to derive actionable insights

- Implement automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting

- Support data infrastructure performance, monitoring, and troubleshooting

- Collaborate on the development of scalable data models and architecture

- Document data processes, workflows, and technical specifications

Required Skills :

- Strong SQL expertise with PostgreSQL, MS SQL, and MongoDB

- Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation

- Hands-on experience with ETL tools, data warehousing, and data modeling

- Ability to build BI dashboards using Power BI

- Knowledge of Shell scripting

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Understanding of database performance tuning and optimization

Good to Have (Preferred Skills) :

- Knowledge of Spark and distributed data processing

- Experience with Big Data ecosystems and scalable data pipelines

- Exposure to Scala programming

- Understanding of modern data engineering tools and best practices
