Position : Data Engineer

Objective :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up a Microsoft Fabric environment and creating datasets using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.

This role requires a strong understanding of data engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain a Microsoft Fabric environment to support data analytics initiatives. Including building Power BI reports

- Develop and manage ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse

- Create and maintain datasets that are optimized for performance and scalability

- Collaborate with analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs

- Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing best practices for data governance and management

- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow and timely availability of data

Exposure :

- 6+ years of related experience in Data Engineering or in a similar role

- Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric (or similar system) and ETL processes

- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS

- Understanding of machine learning concepts and techniques
