Job Summary :

We are looking for a Data Engineer Tech Lead with 7 to 9 years of experience to lead data engineering projects and mentor a small team.

The ideal candidate is hands-on with modern data technologies, has strong problem-solving skills, and can design scalable data solutions while ensuring best practices and quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of data engineers while staying hands-on in development.

- Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.

- Work with cloud-native platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) and data frameworks (Spark, Databricks, Kafka, Snowflake, etc.

- Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

- Implement data quality, governance, and security standards across pipelines.

- Drive automation, performance optimization, and cost efficiency in data platforms.

- Contribute to architecture discussions and ensure adherence to best practices.

Role Requirements And Qualifications :

- Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 7 to 9 years of experience in Data Engineering, with at least 3+ years in a lead/mentorship role.

- Hands-on experience with : Data frameworks : Spark, Databricks, Kafka, Data warehouses : Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Cloud platforms : AWS/Azure.

- Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

- Strong understanding of data modeling, data lakes, and warehouse design.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
